We determine the intended purpose, dimensions, and budget. I draft the layout of pockets, seams, and hardware before touching the leather.

Leather Selection
I craft with full-grain vegetable-tanned and chrome-tanned leathers from heritage Tuscan tanneries (Italy), now complemented by premium hides from a traditional Polish tannery. I match the ideal thickness, grain, and temper.

Hand Cutting, Dyeing & Stitching
Precision cut by hand with a round head knife. Hand-dyed using legendary Fiebing's Pro Dye alcohol-based penetrative dyes. Every seam is stitched purely by hand using the traditional two-needle saddle stitch — zero sewing machines.

Edge Chemistry & Final Finish
Edges are hand-beveled, burnished with Japanese TokoPro and Tokonole natural burnishing compounds to a mirror gloss, and sealed with professional Fiebing's Edge Kote flexible edge coating.
